Brihatta Art
Foundation, in Dhaka, Bangladesh, is an artist-led platform that embraces
creativity as a fluid, transformative force. Through residencies, exhibitions,
and community engagement, it fosters inclusive dialogue, collaboration, and
continuous learning. Rooted in the belief that art should be accessible and
evolving, Brihatta connects diverse voices across borders, nurturing a dynamic
and compassionate creative ecosystem.
Having had the privilege of visiting Brihatta
Art Foundation in person, I was struck by the clarity of vision, care, and
artistic intelligence that shape their work. Brihatta’s commitment to artists
and to meaningful, community-rooted practice is evident in both their
programmes and their long-term thinking. It is a rare organisation, rigorous in
its approach, generous in its spirit, and unafraid to experiment. Actively
contributing to a more connected and imaginative cultural landscape in
Bangladesh and beyond. It stands as a powerful reminder of how transformative a
truly committed foundation can be.
